The food was amazing, super fresh and they had unique rolls. The service was great too, the bartender was very sweet. I came on a slow afternoon but the ambiance is beautiful inside. I would definitely come back again. Satisfied my sushi craving for sure.

This place is in a nice strip center in the galleria area where for a pleasant change for me , valet parking was not needed to get a good parking space because the parking lot area is huge and had patrolling security as well. This was my first visit here and I must admit it's a nice space, friendly vibe-fun spot with great sushi bar seating where we sat, and also plenty enough tables considering the place isn't very large. We ordered a number of nigiri sushi , crudo options, and various rolls , and all were quite good and very fresh. And what makes it even more appealing is the very reasonable prices . Service could have been better however, as they seemed to share multiple tables between each members of waiting staff and as a result, orders came out later than they should , a number of times , and a few of our orders got confused or mixed up with other tables. But beyond that , food was very good and staff was friendly:

Had a pretty good experience dining in here. The restaurant looks nice with interesting decor. Service was good, food came pretty fast. Tried several meal options and ALL were very tasty except the pork katsu (meat was tough) and the veggies (bland taste) in curry dish, but curry sauce itself was great!

Randomly stopped here because I saw it in the parking lot and I cannot turn down sushi. They were serving happy hour all day, which is also a plus. I ordered the edamame, which were amazing with the sautéed onions. I also got the spider with the soft crab, definitely will be getting that again. The last roll was a miso happy, the least favored of the day.

If you're in the uptown area and like sushi, look no further. This place is quaint with great service, modern chic decor, and delicious sushi. Stopped in with a friend for lunch, we ordered 3 rolls to share, and the blue crab fried rice. The rice was okay. I feel it needed a sauce to elevate it a bit or a tad more seasoning to make it pop. Rolls Phili squared 8/10 so fresh, and the lemon on top made it so refreshing Shrimp o'licious 9/10 had a bit of a kick, and each bite is a new explosion of flavor. Have you ever eaten something, and it gets better with each bite? This is the experience Eel tuna roll 8/10 nice flavors tour standard sushi roll. I love the ambiance, the decoe the service, the location, and the food. It connects to an Irish pub, which is pretty cool. I'll definitely be back to try a few more items on the menu.

If you're looking for good vibes and amazing sushi, SOPO won't disappoint. We designated this as our "go to" sushi spot a few years ago and never looked back, which says a lot considering we eat sushi at least once a week and often try new places for fun. SOPO's food is always consistent and fresh. I highly recommend booking a reservation if you plan to visit on the weekend. We have brought countless friends here and everyone always raves about it. Our favorites are the Nando roll, any and all nigiri options with the executive chef toppings, Blue Crab Fried Rice, HTX roll (especially to those that think they don't like raw fish - it's a great intro to sushi), and the King Salmon sashimi. Their specials are pretty good too! My only nit is the inconsistency of service at times, but the restaurant industry generally has high turnover so I'm not sure that's attributable to the restaurant itself. Hence why, I believe this ducked off gem of a sushi spot earns every single one of these 5 stars.

Went here for the first time to celebrate my post birthday lunch with my friends and loved it! It was a Sunday and there was a soccer match going on, the bar besides this restaurant was kind of linked I guess the kitchen was the same we could hear the soccer fans cheering and lifting up the atmosphere! The restaurant is a cute place it has a bar inside too and very cute decor! Very good lighting for daytime as well for aesthetic pictures! We ordered different sushi plates and rolls (the rolls had about 6-8 pieces) and the sushi plate was good enough to be shared having about 10-12 pieces The California snow crab roll was delicious! I also ordered the lickety split and it was really good too! The service was good too, takes some time waiting but worth it! Would definitely go here again. We were also lucky to catch their happy hour and have drinks!

Round 2 at Sushi on Post Oaks, and I STILL came for the sushi and stayed for the shishito peppers! Again, one must order the shishito peppers! This go around (in addition to those peppers) we tried the lobster puffs. Decedent, creamy, luxurious, spicy and oh so fried, this was a good choice! I will say, I'd recommend sharing if you order! In addition to the puffs and the shishitos, I had to get the Madai (Japanese snapper) and try the negimaki, both pretty dang good. All of that set me back about $45, which although a bit expensive isn't too bad. They even gave me a courtesy call when my order was ready. If I'm around the area, I'll def have to stop in for their reverse happy hour! With each and every delicious bite, i'm more inclined to ditch friendly neighborhood sushi dealer and give this spot a permanent spot on my roster.
